Initial, free consultation
Simply fill out the online contact form or email info@knowwhoyouare.co.uk and then we will arrange a time to speak on the phone. We can explore your research interests, what research might help you, and the likely time this might take. If you wish to proceed, only then do we need to agree the cost of future work. Please feel free to use the contact form to ask questions generally.
Agree price packages
These use a set price for researching one or more name in your family tree back to circa 1800 (see prices below). You will receive a report telling you the story of where your family came from, where they moved, what they were doing. This will cover dates of birth/baptism, marriages, death and other events; and include a family tree chart, and transcriptions of available records.
We will describe the research undertaken and provide suggestions for further research.
Bespoke research
We have access to the range of online records, and are close to the National Archives and the major London collections and can travel further afield. We can discuss what your needs might be in the initial, free consultation. We will agree the nature and range of the research, and the overall hours. And we will maintain good contact with you throughout. All our research will be well documented and fully reported.
Package prices
For researching one name
back to circa 1800 - £250 (this will include three formal birth/marriage certificates, as necessary for the research. Additional certificates can be provided at cost - £9.25).
For researching two names
back to circa 1800 - £450 (six certificates)
For researching each additional name back to circa 1800 - £150 each name (three certificates each)
